Beach Getaway is a new location on Grand Bahama Island where you can just relax, kayak, snorkel, build sand castle, purchase all you can drink or eat passes, and for the more thrilling try the air boat.
Established in 1982, this 40-acre National Park is the star of the island’s three parks. It incorporates one of the largest underwater cave systems in the world, with two caves open to the public. Swimming in the caves is prohibited, and a special permit is required for diving.
Nature trails and boardwalks lead to a variety of ecosystems. Picnic tables are located on the beach.
Discover Freeport’s best beaches and shopping during this worry-free shore excursion. Head to Taino Beach and soak up the Caribbean sun, swim in the pristine waters, or enjoy water sports such as kayaking or parasailing. Then, explore the Port Lucaya Marketplace and Festival area and peruse local handicrafts, restaurants, and shopping areas before heading back to port.
